Q - WHAT COMMUNICATIONS CAN I EXPECT?
A - You will be provided with eMail communication throughout the order process.  This includes an initial confirmatory eMail; an 'Order In Process' eMail showing manufacturing has commenced; and finally an 'Order Despatched' eMail indicating physical despatch of your products.   The delivery time scales apply once your order has been despatched. The courier driver would normally contact you immediately prior to delivery to ensure mutually convenient time.   Additionally you will be supplied with a VAT invoice in the post to support accounting records.  In the event of query we may telephoning you for clarification.  As per our Privacy Policy, your telephone and eMail details will not be passed to any third parties, now will we send any unsolicited junk mail.

Q - WHERE CAN YOU DELIVER TO?
A - Frames are generally delivered by Pallet.  These are despatched from UK Mainland, and delivery to either mainland England or Wales is the cheapest option.  We can also provision deliver to other areas including Scotland, Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and Channel Islands.  The latest prices for delivery to all areas are detailed on this website's home page.  Isle of Wight customers are advised to telephone first, as it may be possible to supply at nominal delivery rates for items where ready stock is held or time is not critical.

Q - I NEED A BULK SUPPLY OF PICTURE FRAMES URGENTLY CAN YOU HELP?
A - The standard pallet delivery charge (i.e. £25 excluding VAT for England and Wales) is an economy service, which takes around two to five days for delivery.  For very urgent orders we can facilitate delivery by an express service and exceptionally we may be able to arrange next day delivery if ordered early enough.  Delivery will incur an additional charge normally an extra £20 available at check out.  If missed this can be purchased below (if goods not despatched already).

Q - CAN I USE A CREDIT CARD TO PAY FOR MY ORDER?
A - You can instantly pay using any major credit card (Mastercard, Visa, JCB, Switch, Solo, Delta, and Electron) this service is provided by the secure online facilities offered by Streamline and Paypal.  You don't need a Paypal Account, just a valid Credit Card.  For JCB cards please select Streamline.  You can use your Credit Card online via our secure server at checking out, or if you prefer you can telephone your details through.

Q - I DON'T WISH TO USE A CREDIT CARD - HOW DO I PAY?
A - We accept alternative methods of payment.  This includes UK cheque, postal order, and direct bank transfer.  Goods will be promptly despatched on clearance of cheque and receipt of funds.  Full instructions are provided when you check out and you will be kept fully informed by E-Mail.

Q - WHAT IS VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT)?
A - Value Added Tax (VAT) is a United Kingdom HM Customs & Excise administered tax generally imposed on products sold by companies whose turnover is above a certain threshold.  The rate is currently 17.5%.

Q - CAN MY COMPANY CLAIM BACK VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT)?
A - DATALITE UK Ltd is a United Kingdom VAT Registered Company under GB 922 4169 36; therefore if entitled under current regulations VAT Registered Companies and Organisations may claim VAT back.

Q - MY COMPANY IS LOCATED OUTSIDE THE UNITED KINGDOM - HOW DOES VAT APPLY?
A - If you are a European VAT Registered Company (but located outside the UK) then you do not need to pay VAT.  Please contact us prior to purchase to arrange.  For purchases outside the European VAT area these will be automatically calculated as VAT free purchases on checking out.  In all cases goods require to be physically exported with proof of delivery.

Q - HOW IS VAT CALCULATED ON FRAMES ONLINE UK BULK SUPPLY?
A - Prices (including Shipping) quoted on the site are exclusive of VAT tax.  On checking out and proceeding to pay, products will show the NET amount(s) prior to adding VAT.  VAT is shown as a separate figure calculated at the current UK rate of 17.5%.  The NET amount and TAX amount added together will amount to the inclusive figure.  Please note when purchasing multiple items the final price may be a few pennies different (either slightly more or less) this is due to rounding - a requirement of HM Customs and Excise.  

Q - I HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED AN ORDER, CAN FURTHER ITEMS BE ADDED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A PUBLICISED DISCOUNT AND/OR POSTAL SAVINGS?
A - Provided your order has not been despatched, further orders will be entitled to discounts and delivery savings equivalent to the overall order.  Any monies due will be automatically credited.

Q - DO YOU SUPPLY SMALLER QUANTITIES OF FRAMES?
A - Yes, we can supply from a single frame upwards from a range of A3, A4, 10x8 inch, and 6x4 inch display frames.  These are available from our retail picture frame website www.framesonlineuk.com and we DELIVER FAST from held stock.  The majority of retail orders are despatched within a working day of a paid order. 
  
Q - WHAT IS YOUR POLICY REGARDING INTERNATIONAL DESPATCH?
A - Our Bulk Wholesale Supply of Picture Frames facility is available to United Kingdom, Ireland, and Channel Islands.   International despatch may be available to certain European countries - prices available on enquiry. 

Q - WHAT HAPPENS IF PRODUCTS ARE BROKEN IN TRANSIT?
A -  Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we will promptly replace or arrange a pro rata credit/refund for items broken in transit.  To enable us to claim from carriage insurance we may request proof and/or information on the damage.

Q - CAN YOU PROVIDE SAMPLES?
A - We can provide free samples of the materials used for our products on request.  Alternatively we can supply sample frames at nominal cost deductable from main order.
